SprintRay 3D Printing

From your digital scan to a 3D-printed dental solution.

What to expect

Turning digital information into something you can use.

At CuraSmile PH, SprintRay 3D printing can connect digital treatment planning with in-house production, allowing selected dental pieces to be designed from your digital records and produced directly at the clinic.

Once your mouth has been digitally scanned, the resulting file can be used to create a physical dental object based on your treatment requirements.

Depending on your case, this may include a 3D-printed model for treatment planning, a surgical guide for implant procedures, or a dental appliance such as a splint.

When appropriate, producing these items in-house can reduce some manual and logistical steps between digital design and production, helping streamline the treatment workflow.

Each printed piece is checked by your dental team before it is used or fitted as part of your treatment.

The process

What you can expect from our 4-step process.

  1. 1. Digital scan:

Your teeth and oral structures are digitally captured using an intraoral scanner or, when appropriate, other digital imaging technology.

  2. 2. Digital design:

The digital file is used to design the model, surgical guide or selected appliance according to your treatment requirements.

  3. 3. 3D printing:

The approved design is produced using SprintRay 3D printing technology in-house when appropriate for the case.

  4. 4. Verification and fitting:

The printed piece is checked by your dental team and fitted or adjusted as needed before being used in your treatment.
