Caring for your smile after treatment
Recovery is gradual and predictable. Here’s what to expect, stage by stage, in the days after your visit.
- Right away
Mild gum tenderness and sensitivity are normal for the first few days.
- First days
Avoid biting hard items (ice, nuts, pens) directly with your veneers.
- Ongoing
Brush gently, floss daily around each veneer, and limit staining food and drink.
- Long term
Wear a night guard if you grind your teeth to protect the bonding.
